I read an article the other day explaining that drilling has experienced a problem recently, specifically the amount of contaminated water produced by current drilling methods. I took the article to mean that the operation(s) have been slowed down due to EPA(?) not being able to cope with the amount of contaminated water...
Is this true?

I do not have all of the specific facts on this, but can tell you that there are several facilities outside of the Northeast PA that can handle the water.
There are talks of building facilities in this area, but that may take up to a few years to get them operational.
The biggest issue facing the drilling is the water and permits to use and handle that water.
Can you post a link to the article? If it was a news paper can you give me the name and date so I can research the article?
Thanks
